WMUG Radio - Listen to the sermon on WednesdayThe Bible has some pretty specific things to say about how we worship, but none of them deal with what kind of music we use. Instead, Jesus addresses the true heart of the matter. In John 4:23 he says
"A time is coming and has now come when the true worhipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks." (NIV)
God does not take issue with the style of worship we choose, as long as we are looking to His Spirit, and the truth of His Word, the Bible.
We are a family built on diverse experiences and memories. We have traditional and contemporary worship services in order to provide meaningful experiences for everyone.
God is happiest when we want to be with Him. His desire is that you would want to come and spend time with Him in worship. We want to help you to enter into God's presence to find satisfaction and rest.
God seeks our hearts. He wanted us to love Him above all things. Our hope, along with the apostle Paul, is that you would "grasp how wise and long and high and deep is the love of Christ." (Ephesians 3:18 NIV)
"I will praise you forever for what you have done; in your name I will hope, for your name is good. I will praise you in the presence of your saints."
(Psalm 52:9 NIV)
