Contemporary Worship Team 

 

 

Our Worship Teams exist to provide changing experiences with God, leading to deeper commitment and positive life changes.  As we usher each other into the presence of God, through God-focused and culture-sensitive music, join us in song and praise of the Lord!

 

The Worship Teams are comprised of worship leaders, praise band instrumentalists, lead vocalists and choir members.  Service includes weekly Contemporary Worship services, special events, and other opportunities.  Desirable qualities of a Worship Team Member include:

• An ever-growing relationship with Jesus
• A willingness to serve in community with your worship team
• Musical proficiency at singing and/or playing an instrument
• An ability to flow/blend with the team
• A teachable spirit

Participation requires a commitment of time, talent and energy as we join together to serve following scriptural principles.  God has promised us in Psalm 22:3 that "He is enthroned on the praises of His people." Together we glorify and lift up Jesus' name for surely He is greatly to be praised.

 

Other Information:

Weekly rehearsals are typically held on Wednesday evenings.  The praise band meets at 7:00 PM with the vocalists join in sometime after.  Rehearsals normally conclude at 9:00 PM or shortly thereafter.

 

The Worship Teams serve during the Sunday 11:00 AM  Contemporary Worship Celebrations and are involved in other special church and community events throughout the year. 

 

Open, informal musical interviews are held for prospective instrumentalists and vocalists.
