Traditional Worship Celebration

We remember with great honor the traditions that were impressed upon us by those that have gone before us. The Chancel Choir leads us in a great hymn from the United Methodist Hymnal as we prepare our hearts and minds for worship.

In as much as it is a structured format, the weekly experience is planned carefully to include special music and liturgies to better communicate the central message.  The children are invited to share in a teaching moment through a unique object lesson.

The word of God is proclaimed  through the reading of Scripture and affirmed by the body of believers. Through the recitation of historical liturgy and the Lord's Prayer we are reminded that we are one body in Jesus Christ.

Surrounded by music from one of the finest pipe organs built by the Welte Company and the Steinway Grand Piano, the morning light filters through stained glass windows upon the worshipers as they raise their voices to God.

As a part of our vital and thriving music ministry, various Handbell Choirs and Junior Choirs grace us with their sweet sound. The Master's Jazz Orchestra and the intergenerational orchestra has delighted our worship experience.

Communion Sunday is held the first Sunday of every month.

We invite you to view our schedule of worship times and encourage you to visit Grace United Methodist Church.
