Christian Play Day is a biblically based, nondenominational cooperative preschool program. With our staff of dedicated teachers, we serve families who are seeking a Christian educational experience along with academics and structured play. Bible stories, prayer, and forgiveness are as much a part of the daily routine as colors, numbers and letters.
Christian Play Day meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The program year begins in September and ends in May.

These children are divided into older and younger 3-year-old groups to better meet their learning needs. They meet once a week.
3 years old by December 31st...
The Sonshine Lambs meet once a week, on Thursdays, beginning in January.
4 years old by August 31st
These classes meet twice a week and are considered to be pre-kindergarten.
5 years old by August 31st
This group, which meets twice a week, is for children who did not start kindergarten or who attend kindergarten in the afternoons.
Current News
Our first semester is rapidly coming to an end. The weeks have really flown by. The four-year-old children recently went on their Fall Walk to Memorial Park. The weather was beautiful and the leaf mulcher did not arrive until after we had had our fun with the leaves! Thanks to all of the parents who accompanied us on the walk...you were a terrific help.
We will be taking a week off for the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no classes on Nov. 25th or 27th. Our Christmas Program will be presented on Thursday, December 11th, at 10:00 A.M. Children should arrive at their regular time. All children are to participate in the program, even if they only attend classes on Tuesdays. The program is followed by a "punch and snacks" reception.
Our second semester will begin on January 13th, 2009. If you like to plan ahead, there are some other important dates to remember. Our spring break will take place the weeks before and after Easter. There will be no classes on April 7th, 9th, 14th, or 16th. Our spring Graduation Program will be held on Thursday, May 14th.
Enrollment for 2009 Sonshine Lambs
Students are currently being accepted for the 2009 Sonshine Lambs class. This Thursday morning class is for children who will be three years old by Jan. 14th, 2009. Tuition is $20.00 for the semester, and classes will begin on January 15th. Our Sonshine Lambs curriculum is entirely different from the full-year three-year-old classes, so if you child returns next year, he or she will not be repeating the same lessons.
