Christian Play Day will resume on January 10th, 2012. We are happy to welcome our new Thursday class, the Sonshine Lambs. This is a class for children who have recently turned three years of age, or who did not start in September. We have a limited number of openings in the already existing three, four, and five-year-old classes. Our parent orientation meeting, for parents of new students only, will be Monday, Jan. 9th, at 7:00 P.M.   Christian Play Day is a biblically based, nondenominational cooperative preschool program. With our staff of dedicated teachers, we serve families who are seeking a Christian educational experience along with academics and structured play. Bible stories, prayer, and forgiveness are as much a part of the daily routine as colors, numbers and letters. 

Christian Play Day meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  The program year begins in September and ends in May.

               What is so special about Christian Play Day???  

          Using Jesus as a model for peer interactions and personal growth, the curriculum incorporates Bible stories and characters in the teaching of both academic and spiritual lessons. The program is unique in that it adds an affordable Christian alternative to the preschool options in the Indiana area. The cooperative nature of the program fosters parental involvement, a family atmosphere, and the opportunity for those involved to form lasting friendships.

 Who comes to C.P.D.???

Children who are....3 years old by August 31st ... 
 These children are divided into older and younger 3-year-old groups to better meet their learning needs. They meet once a week.

 3 years old by December 31st...
The Sonshine Lambs meet once a week, on Thursdays, beginning in January.

4 years old by August 31st...
These classes meet twice a week and are considered to be pre-kindergarten.

5 years old by August 31st...

These classes meet twice a week and are considered to be pre-kindergarten. The recently updated curriculum is more advanced than the 4-year-old class.

 

Servants Needed
Do you love children? Do you love Jesus? Christian Play Day Preschool can always use extra hands and loving hearts! People may serve by teaching a class, assisting a teacher, staffing the nursery, preparing materials, donating supplies, or by praying for the program. We have (and need) a variety of helpers, including parents, grandparents, college students, and caring people from Grace.
