Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is open to anyone age 18 or older. New members are always welcome. You don't have to audition - and you don't have to read music. But, it's best if you can "carry a tune". This choir sings for worship and special services from September through May. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings upstairs in the choir room at 7:30. If you are interested in joining this group, just come to one of our rehearsals. If you are interested in singing but can't come to the rehearsals, every Easter and Christmas there is a special Christmas/Easter Choir who rehearse at 7:00pm Thursday evenings in the choir room beginning about two months before the holiday itself.
Voices of Grace
Voices of Grace is a vocal ensemble for youth in grades 7 - 12. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings, 8:00, in the choir room. The group sings primarily in the Traditional Worship Service (occasionally in the Contemporary Service) when "ready". (This is usually about 6 times during the school year).
JOY & JOYful Noise Choirs
JOY Choir (for children in grades 3-6) and JOYful Noise Choir (children age 4 through grade 2) sing for the Traditional Service (and sometimes the Contemporary Service) about six times during the school year. The JOYful Noise choir rehearses at 6:30pm in the Sara Room. The JOY choir rehearses at 7:00pm in the choir room.
This Christmas, we will be preparing the musical "How Far is it to Bethlehem." It is open to all singers/actors in grades 3-8. We will be rehearsing Wednesdays from 7:00pm-8:00pm.
