Weekly News – December 28, 2018

What an awesome Christmas Eve we celebrated here at Grace!  The sanctuary was beautiful, the music was inspiring and the message was certainly one to take with you into the new year.   What a gift we’ve been given…the One who brings us Flawless Love, Unexplainable Peace, Boundless Joy and Endless Hope.  May you know Him even more intimately in the new year.

Our upcoming sermon series will focus on prayer.  Please join us as we prepare for the new year fully covered with prayer.  This Sunday’s message is “A Covenant Prayer.”   The series will lead us into…

CASTING A VISION FOR PRAYER 2019 on Saturday, January 12, Fellowship Hall with Terry Teykl.  Combining humor and depth, Terry leads prayer conferences around the country.  Our seminar will begin at 8:30 am with refreshments and registration.  Sessions are 9 am to 2 pm.  Lunch will be available at noon for $5.  To help in planning lunch, please sign up in the Welcome Center or call the church office at 724-463-8535.  The seminar is open to everyone in the community.

And, on the subject of prayer: .  Fourteen churches have committed to join in prayer for our community.  All will be using a 30-day Community Prayer Devotional by Bob Santos.  The Community Prayer Devotional is available for purchase in our Welcome Center and at the Church Office.  Cost is $5 per book.

As you pray, please remember our Mexico Mission Team which is currently gearing up for their annual work mission to San Luis, Mexico.  The team will depart on January 11.

We will be UN-decorating the church on Wednesday, January 9th at 5:30 pm.   All are welcome!   Many hands make light work–and it’s fun working together.
