The Hospitality and Food Service Ministry is a service and outreach of Grace. Our mission is not only to feed the body, but to nourish the soul through the personal interaction that occurs at meals and events where food is served. Our Hospitality and Food Service Director is Becky McAnulty.
Starting September 22, 2021, we will serve Wednesday Night Dinners in our Fellowship Hall every Wednesday evening during the fall, winter, and spring seasons from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The hearty home-style meals are cooked on site by Becky and her volunteer food service team. All meals are complete with the main dish, accompanying side dishes, home-made desserts and beverages. Dinners are served cafeteria style to encourage entire families to enjoy dinner with other families and friends. Reservations are required.

To maintain and ensure compliance with accepted safe food-handling practices, our kitchen is licensed through the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, and Becky McAnulty, our Director of Food Services, is SERVSafe certified.
Following the funeral or memorial service, we offer the bereaved family a meal or reception to allow family and friends a time to gather to share fellowship and to reminisce over their departed loved one. It is also a time for the church family to express an outward sign of our love and respect for the departed.

The Kitchen Ministry has many opportunities to serve others throughout the year. The team is called on to help with receptions, dinners, luncheons, picnics, etc. Many hands make light work and we can use lots of volunteers in this vital ministry of the church.

Several times a year we serve our senior adults lunch for many of their monthly events, and we could use some help in the kitchen!
Recognizing that Grace is a large congregation, we encourage members, friends and guests to gather in the Welcome Center between our Worship Services for a cup of coffee, or other beverages, and light refreshments. This allows people to visit in an informal setting to meet and greet friends and to welcome new guests.
If you are outgoing, friendly and enjoy meeting new people, we encourage you to join this team! We need greeters, ushers and Welcome Center hosts at various services throughout the year in addition to every Sunday morning.
